Hybrid Time Wristwatch Design (Second Life)
I look through a lot of fancy magazines and see lots of ads for crappy overpriced "luxury" time-pieces. So, thought I'd try drafting one myself in SL.
I'm pretty happy with the result. People with sharp eyes will notice that the analog clock on the left has 10 rather than 12 'hour' markers; that is because the red clock displays Metric Time rather than standard 12/24 hour time.

Yes, the watch has no band, I know this. Buy your own and put it on, lol. Most modern high-roller watches utilize a faux alligator skin which looks like crap. I recommend nylon.
Details:
Pretty obvious, the red clock is metric, the blue is standard- the two corresponding date boxes are color coded to match. The two clocks merge in the middle to form a characteristic "infinity" symbol, which of course represents the timelessness of time.
The larger face of the watch is a high-efficiency solar panel, eliminating the need for battery replacement. Both clocks are set automatically via GPS signal.
Special Features:
As a joke I slipped in a stop sign motif to signify the ultimate futility of keeping track of something that doesn't actually exist.
