actually, the biggest difference(s) between Sprint Family Locator [SFL] and Verizon Chaperone [VZC] is the COST! SFL costs $5/month and lets you locate up to 4 phones (that’s $1.25 per phone!). Whereas VZC is $10/month PER PHONE! This means that SFL is up to 8x cheaper than VZW. Also, SFL has a much more rich mapping interface with satellite maps and birdseye view maps which helps put the location of your kids in better context. http://www.sprint.com/familylocator
