At Bat is an app that let's you watch MLB games. Some games are blacked out due to GPS location of the phone. What if the phone reports another location, then you can watch the blacked out game.
I need a GPS fooler app for my iTouch.
I would remember that all electronics are PENIS!

so i'm looking on Amazon and ebay for a gps, and wondering what constitutes a good gps/gps buy...
anyone has an idea/advice?
tnx!
It really depends on what you want to use the GPS for. The car? Running? Looking after the kids?

My friend says an old friend of hers often makes comments about how he is watching her........from a satellite on his computer and always seems to know where she is. I thought it might be just from him driving by her house and following her but she thinks because he is a bit of a computer geek that he may be watching her house from a satellit....is that possible?
We downloaded Google Earth but the images were at least 4 years old....can just anyone attach a GPS to her car and track her? Or watch a live feed of her home?
We are mainly trying to find out if there is some program he is using that give him a live feed to her house? He always knows when people are coming and going and what cars they are driving but clearly can't be watching physically every minute of the day so how is he doing it?
Yep - GPS transmitters can easily be attached to cars. If he has a paid subscription to a tracking company then her car, if bugged, will show up on a map.
He could have a remote camera near or even inside her house.
Still, if he was doing it using hi tech then i don't think he would reveal his methods. However, if he was using only low tech methods then he might try and make out that he's using pro technologies to scare/ intimidate her further. Think about it from a psychological angle.

I looked extensively into the whole GPS tracking thing the first time my dad took off and we had to call the police to find him.
Unfortunately, there isn't much out there. Most of the so called GPS tracking products aren't live--you take out a chip and download the info on where someone has been. There are ankle and wrist bracelets similar to what those on probation wear, but they only sound an alarm when the perimeter is breached, they don't tell you where the person is.
A few months ago, some GPS shoes came out that seem promising. I wrote about them on my blog (02-14-2007). They are expensive and you have to pay for monthly monitoring service, but if your loved one wanders you call and get accurate, live info on where s/he is.
The problem is, what if the person wanders and ISN'T wearing the shoes? I really want some kind of bracelet that can't be removed (like my dad's Safe Return ID).
Hope this helps.

No. The most important data inside your GPS watch is the map. You need buy a new map if necessary but don't pay a monthly fee.

My father is a truck driver and he needs a GPS to watch out for low bridges and roads where trucks are prohibited. Right now he is using Megellan 3200 but it doesn't help him in this kind of situation.

This is the only one I could find that has the feature of height...it never hurts to double check ones route in the Motor Carrier Atlas that I am sure your dad has...these truck routing systems are not fail proof.
Good Luck!

Take a look at this.

I have looked at the Garmin Forerunner and the Garmin Edge. Is there a brand that is better? Is there a unit that works best fpr BOTH running and cycling?
Garmin is the best. All the functions in one awesome device.
Garmin Edge.
I have the Garmin Forerunner and a buddy has the Garmin Edge. If you are cycling more, I would get the Garmin Edge. If you are running more, I would get the Garmin Forerunner.
