Ok so lets say you suspect your spouse of cheating or at least not being honest about where they have been, so you get them a GPS watch because you cant spend your day following them or calling, will you be able to check their location if they have the watch on? How do they work exactly? I was also told about GPS I could put in the car, but it seems they have to be charged by a cigarette lighter, and how obvious is that if they can see it charging!

....Sounds like you have some trust issues. Why are you married to someone you don't trust...doesn't make any sense.
